In the field of education, Dr. Andi Stix’s published works include using literature and simulations in the Social Studies and English Language Arts classroom. Her works consist of using coaching techniques in the classroom, interactive ideas to make classrooms more active, and strategies to motivate students to learn. Together with her colleague, Andi published their award-winning Exploring History series on interactive learning for the Social Studies, geared towards middle and high school students. In addition, Andi published articles and books on the use of journal writing and how to use math manipulatives in the middle grades, which she designed.
